Objective(s) i. To evacuate power to be generated from the 335 MW under construction Power Plant and other incoming Power Plants at Siddhirganj.
ii. To meet the growing demand of South-east part of Dhaka city and to relieve the existing 132 kV lines of this area through the new 230 kV double circuit transmission line.
iii. To minimize transmission loss.
Scope of Work 1) Siddhirganj 230/132 kV, 2x225 MVA AIS Substation.
2) 230/132 kV, 2X300 MVA GIS substation at Maniknagar including one 132 kV bay extension in the existing 132/33 kV outdoor substation.
3) Siddhirganj - Maniknagar 230 kV Double Circuit O/H Transmission Line and relocation of an existing 132 kV dead-end Tower of Haripur line 1 & 2 by installing a new 132 kV dead-end Tower and provide underground cable connections.
